We decided to go to Cover 3 (Austin, TX) for brunch. This is their Eggs Commodore, which is sausage and poached eggs on top of English muffins and topped with hollandaise.
I tend to sleep in on weekends, so my husband made a big breakfast for breakfast/lunch. There are scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and pancakes made with homemade batter. It was a lot of food though! I had to save some of the pancakes for another day.
I’m not sure why I never tried Ruby’s (Austin, TX) while I was still in college, since it’s so close to campus. I finally went and got brisket and sausage. I thought it was really good - so tender and juicy.

We had a Super Bowl potluck, and a friend brought a bunch of pigs in a blanket :)
